Balvenie Peat Week 14

Balvenie Peat Week 2002

COLOR

Pale golden color like chardonnay, chamomile tea, or the brass of an aging trumpet.

NOSE

A faint but somewhat complex nose that's sweet with hints of butterscotch, caramel, orange, dark chocolate, vanilla, cream, peat, and oak. There's also something medicinal lurking about.

FLAVOR

Sweet and spicy. Smoke and peppery. A hint of honey, medicine, fruit and salt.

FINISH

A nice long smoky, salty finish includes hints of fruit, pepper, and peat.

COMMENTS

A nice dram but not something that'll blow your mind.
