The pale golden color of this Laphroaig is similar to straw, diluted green tea, or water that has a small amount of peat soaking in it.

A delightfully complex nose with the expected peat and smoke as a backdrop to the more exotic hints of cut wood, cheerios, vanilla, taffy, lemon, lime and hints of grapefruit.

Its beautifully complex flavor is tangy, smoky, sweet like honey, creamy, with iodine and a salt. It's actually a bit chewy.

The long smooth and creamy finish is robust and delightful and includes overtones of vanilla, toffee, and sea salt.
