The Secret Treasures Springbank 1970

Lightly steeped tea, honey, and straw.

The nose begins with a strong sweet caramel and vanilla punch. Additionally, expressions of sherry, butter, citrus, and wood are also noticable.

This malt releases a bouquet of subtle flavors primarily of toffee and cream with a variety of secondary flavors including salt, butter, oil, and caramel.

The medium to long finish includes cream, salt and butter.

The Secret Treasures Springbank 1970 is a smooth, sweet, creamy dram. Although pleasant, it's not terribly distinctive given the Springbank namesake.
