Glenfiddich IPA Cask
Straw with vertical stripes! Lead yellow, chardonnay, early sunset, autumn gold, oak flooring, peat-bog yellow.
Not a particularly strong nose. Floral, citrus, licorice, vanilla, hay, and honey straw.
The flavor is an order of magnitude stronger than the nose. Flowers, salt, pepper, vanilla cream, banana, toffee, dark bitter chocolate, and licorice.
Short to medium in duration primarily with licorice, salt and a sprinkle of pepper.
A nice pleasant dram with some character that's balanced out with a few flaws. Where's the IPA cask in all of this?
